South African house music producer Thembinkosi Mdemka, better known as Reign Carol remixes Yndian Mynah’s recent single ‘RAOK’ and creates the perfect alternative house track. South Africa is a country notorious for house music and producer Reign Carol is quickly gaining traction having collaborated with local artists and producers such as Black Motion, Chymausique, and King Monada. His rework of Yndian Mynah's track focuses on the flow between the intricate sound layers and overall dynamics. The energy of the track balances perfectly between dance and lounge soundscapes - bringing in his signature percussion, Carol pays homage to his love for jazz which comes across through his piano chords that beautifully ties everything together. The collaboration originally came together when the band heard Reign’s track ‘Kwaze Kwamnadi’ which lead to the band reaching out to him. What also needs to be mentioned, is that two of the members attended high school with Theminkosi which made the collaboration even more special. “Music has this powerful way of bringing people together and for us, sharing ideas is something that we want this remix to reflect.
