Damian O'Grady has been known for years as a top side man in the Texas honky-tonk scene, playing piano and singing in such acts as Amber Digby and Midnight Flyer, MIss Leslie and Her Juke-Jointers, Cornell Hurd, Brennen Leigh and Wanda Jackson. His debut album "From 9 'til 1" is the long-awaited answer to the question that followed him from gig to gig and dancehall to dancehall, "Hey, when are you gonna do your own record, man?". The result has us wishing he hadn't waited so long! Damian's self-penned songs show a refreshing range in moods and style but always stay grounded to the classic country and rock that he knows so well.
