Ground Me is a record meant to show fans of Hussey's band All Get Out another side of the song writing he's capable of. It holds true to the lyrical honesty he's known for while venturing into a different dynamic of sound and song structure. It is a truly DIY album, recorded and mixed from home with all instrumentation and production (excluding drums done by Nick Jenkins) done alone. Rough around the edges, but steering away from qualifying as lo-fi in an honest effort not to hide any short comings. All songs recorded and mixed at my home in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Mastered by Kenny McWilliams at Archer Avenue Studios in Columbia, South Carolina. Album art designed by Erica Hussey. All music written and performed by Nathan Hussey.
