Terje Iversen grew up in Harpefoss, Gudbrandsdalen and influenced by his parents, he grew up with roots in traditional country music. As early as 9 years old he bustle to get his first guitar, which has become a permanent companion through his life. Terje Iversen is strongly influenced by artists such as Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Marty Stuart, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt et al, but has in recent years acquired his own style and brand, delivering American country music at its best . Terje Iversen has an extensive experience, ranging from the more "road house" like dancing premises in the countryside thrue out the major festivals around the nation, so what you see is what you get you get an artist that is "Country to the Bone",who delivers the goods with genuine feeling for the music he presents. Terje Iversen took a trip to the country music capital Nashville in Tennessee in 2012 to find inspiration and songs for his new album "Better With A Band" which contains 12 tracks and will be released on the Scandinavian market in late June / July 2013. Terje Iversen has been joined by producers such as Mark Moseley and Tom Holland at Sound Control Studios in Nashville, who has produced albums for artists such as George Jones, Vince Gill, Tanya Tucker and others to complete the product. Terje Iversen has been recording his music tracks in Skjåk recording studio, and at the helm, he has been carrying Stein Arne Melby, who also is no stranger to the real country sound, while also using Norwegian musicians with long experience in the industry such as Marie Klåpbakken - Fiddle, Odd Halvard Seterdal - Guitar, Mandolin, Lars Egil Vågseter - Steel Guitar, Dobro, Ronny Melby - Bass and Maurits Opsahl on drums. Terje travels to Nashville in May 2012 to add the vocal tracks, mixes, and master ready for realease.
