Regarding context, the themes of loss, despondence and… feeling lost become the central emotional pillars of Runaway, audible through his choice of minor chords and ambient soundscapes that accompany Logic Lost's beats. Most of the inspiration for the album comes from the swirling, fluctuative emotions of adjusting to a life beyond academia, or merely just trying to cope with problems that one faces. The mostly instrumental album was recorded over a one year and a half period between 2014 and 2015 and succeeds an earlier EP of mostly ambient music which was released for free in July 2015.
