Poo Poo Platter Vol. 1 is a compilation of songs from actress/singer Missi Pyle who has been recording at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, CA with Chris Goss, (Masters of Reality) and David Catching, (Eagles of Death Metal) for the last 5 years. This is Missi's first solo album and follow up to her last album, It's OK To Be Happy she released in 2008, with her band, Smith & Pyle with actress Shawnee Smith.

Missi calls the album Poo Poo Platter because the genre is really hard to put into any one category! There are Evangelical/Comedy songs written and performed by the Tumbleweeds, aka. Missi Pyle and Super Bad's Brooke Dillman and Country/Comedy songs written and performed by The Nice Ladies aka. Missi and magical songstress Jenna Lee. It's the most hilarious yet poignant album of all time! There's a little something for everyone on this Poo Poo Platter!!!
