Release 25 on Totally 'Ardcore records welcomes back two of the scene's rising hardcore producers - J@m!e & DJ Skoobi. ROCK TO THE JAM - After many successful chart topping releases on this label, J@m!e returns with his latest track Rock to the Jam. This release contains lots of elements of powerstomp with a pumping and punchy bass-line and the rock to the jam sample. It leads into the first break with an echo effect on the vocals. The atmospheric breakdown creates a euphoric feel and is followed by a subtle breakbeat, which reintroduces the main sample. After the build up, the track kicks in with a driving and pumping riff, which eventually makes way for the second breakdown. This is an producer who is certainly making a name for himself within the upfront hardcore scene! NAUGHTY BUT NICE - For his second release on the label, DJ Skoobi is back with a catchy track entitled Naughty but Nice. The track has a harder edge to begin, and its bleepy sounds flow into an immense pitch bend, taking it into the first breakdown. In this section pads and chimes combine, and are followed by the main electronic lead, which builds up into first drop. Here, the kicks, bass and percussion are layered with lots of uplifting synths and quirky samples. This switches into a bouncy section, which then leads nicely into the second breakdown. If you like tracks that keep you on your toes with lots of chops and changes, then this is one for you!
