2008 JUNO Award Winner - Jazz Album of the Year (Canadian Grammy) Bassist Brandi Disterheft is taking the jazz world by storm since the release of her first album. A career which began in her teens performing with her mother, a jazz pianist from Chicago, Brandi has already toured Japan and China; opened for Diana Krall and Pharoah Sanders; performed at Jazz Festivals in Vienna and Chicago, and she’s even played Carnegie Hall.
