A fifth-generation Floridian, Lindsey Mills sings alternately of the swamp and the suburbs. By sixteen, Mills was playing her quirky acoustic originals at DIY punk shows, and upon graduating high school, had several self-released records to her name. Her most recent release, Stonefruit is a heartfelt full-band effort that grew out of three years’ love, loss and climate change in Gainesville, FL. Though her roots are as tangled as the mangroves, a supple voice and evocative lyrics cut through to create a driving folk-pop hybrid.
