Tracy Healing Moon Her roots run deep. Not in soil but in soul. Tracy is her name. Healing is her mission, along with giving you the ‘goose bumps’ like music used to! She grew up in Atlanta and music has always been her fascination and escape. She attended North Atlanta School of Performing Arts, where she traveled throughout Europe, The Caribbean, and The Continental United States as a key member of The International Touring Company. In college, she performed and traveled with the school Jazz Band and Chorale group. A few years back, she and a music partner were chosen as finalists to compete in UniverseTalent, a world-wide singing/songwriting competition held in Prague, Czech Republic. After winning 1st place in every major category, including best song and best singer, Tracy and her partner took a chance and went directly to London to place their mark on the British music scene. After landing, they formed a production team with one of London’s top producer’s, Tony Briscoe, recorded and placed several songs, and performed as a piano/vocal duo and with up to an 8 piece band at numerous events and functions throughout England. The team then moved their act to Amsterdam, packing even more venues with music lovers. Tracy has since, performed in Egypt, Ethiopia, Barcelona, Germany, and France, just to name a few countries. Now back on the Atlanta scene, Healing Moon has created quite a buzz through her live performances, vocal production and songwriting. She has been pinned, The Fiyah Writah; as she will take a concept and write several songs about it with varying views and melodies. She is Pop,Rock, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Country and a lil Hip-Hop. She is alto and soprano. She’s also quite the lyricist and hopes to provoke thinking and understanding! Healing Moon tends to desire crazy music combinations like 808’s and banjos or violins with beat boxes. She has shared the stage/studio with an array of artist ranging from jazz violinist Ken ford, to Platinum hip-hop artists, The Nappy Roots (on whom’s album she appears) and even R. Kelly, Estelle and Collective Souls. Tracy placed 1st runner up in Open Mic Atlanta, where she competed completely A Capella with over 120 bands! She still travels throughout the world delivering powerful and energetic shows for all types of events and is currently working on her sophomore album\EP. She is also working on a children’s album that an adult would love as well! Tracy Healing Moon has fine-tuned her craft beautifully and holds a voice and presence that will lift you up, not only spiritually, but up out of your seat. No need to try and classify, she is one in 7 billion and one with the music.
