Conrad and Jana have been making music together in various states of consciousness for 6 years in and around Cape Town. Even after long periods of absence and drama worthy of several TV soaps, they seem to drift together after every break-up, post early 20’s hangover and periods of chronic domesticity to create that which binds them - music.

Jana’s voice is hot and smoky and filled with an early blues tinge best suited – one should think – for rock n’ roll. A voice that has, on occasion, been described as a cross between Janis Joplin and Laurika Rauch. Conrad – problematically – hates all acoustic instruments having given them up for the synthesiser after hearing Ladytron perform in a London club whose name would give his age away. For most musicians this divide would create an unsurpassable situation for conflict. But not for them…

Releasing their debut EP the 27th of September “Ons s’n is beter” they hope roll all their influences and experiences in a tight ball so you would think it all sounds fresh, new and utterly original.

They would like – one day – to write the theme tune for a Twin Peaks inspired TV novella set in Parklands.
