Death*Star's "A New D**e" is our sophomore release. There was a lot learned from "The Fandom Menace" and we feel our gained knowledge and experience shows in the second LP. We are very open, public, and blunt about our attachment to nerdcore as a sub-genre and our love of general hip hop. We wanted to make sure that this album really showed that love of hip hop with the geek subject matter to back it. We worked with more artists on this, which we feel was successful, took more time toward production, and were able to use better equipment. There is a lot of fear when an artist releases a second album. Worries over its quality, fan reception, and whether or not it will be a better album than the last. We feel like "A New D**e" is the next level of Death*Star. We hope you agree.
