The Impatient Sisters first dipped their toes into the local music scene by opening for My Short Term Memory at Lepaq Cafe, singing covers of their influences Eisley and Priscilla Ahn. Their unique harmonies and musical choices caught the attention of their audience, and inspired the sisters to try their hands at original material. Their attempts at collaborative songwriting yielded lyrics that were dreamy, breezy, happy, and sad. The peculiarity of their songs aptly reflected their own quirky personalities and connection as siblings. The result: Comets and Stars and The Mermaid Song, their first YouTube releases.
