'The Four Corners EP' sees Eype take you on a pretention-free journey through his laid-back style, from the head-nodding to the cinematic. The first track 'It's Been a Long Time' starts things off with some laid-back downtempo hip hop. 'Haze' is a more orchestral instrumental affair that's all about the vibe. 'Knowing' is straight up trip-hop and features vocals from Kylie Earl. Rounding off the EP, the final track 'Pulse' steps things up a gear by fusing broken beats with a deeper house feel. Calling on a wide range of influences, Eype's approach to music production is equally varied, coaxing complex emotions from machines and fusing these with real instrumentation to great effect.
