简介

Four kids, BILLIE, THE COLONEL, WOODY and SHIV, go on their annual summer holiday to Nelson’s Retreat, a family camp situated on Dorset’s Jurassic coast. But Billie and the gang don’t really fit in with the other kids, and the camp’s targeted for younger children so it’s not really their ‘thing’ anymore. The only highlight is the camp’s squirrel mascot, the hyperactive and unpredictable NELSON NUTMEG (basically a guy in a squirrel costume). However, when Billie witnesses Nelson Nutmeg getting pushed off the cliff by a mysterious assailant, she rallies The Colonel, Woody and Shiv to investigate. They immediately suspect DIANE (played by Bonnie Wright aka Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter), the camp’s new manager, and they try to build their evidence. However, the kids get quickly in over their heads, and they realize they’re going to have to use all their childlike savvy if they’re going to solve this crime! The original soundtrack Film directed by Tim Clague and Danny Stack (http://www.nelsonnutmeg.com) The original score was composed by Titas Petrikis (www.titasmusic.com). The music has been recorded at the Lithuanian Folk Culture Centre. The film soundtrack has received the following reviews: - I like the mock-horror design of the titles and the way in which the composer Titas Petrikis spoofs different movie genres for the horror scenes, the zany adventure scenes, and the teen romance scenes (Caterina Benincasa at http://www.bina007.com) - The film has a surprisingly good soundtrack, and has some genuinely funny moments throughout (Jordon Ward at The Upcoming). - The overall Scooby Doo feel is evident throughout, not only in the team`s mystery-solving capabilities, but right down to the Hanna-Barbera-esque soundtrack and even a delightful little Freleng Door Gag (Grae Westgate at http://vulturehound.co.uk).
