Ricky Valadez is an award-winning composer with a distinct and recognizable musical style that blends orchestral, cinematic and pop elements. The Berklee College of Music alumnus has composed and produced music through a broad spectrum ranging from electronic to pop to dramatic film music to classical. His music has been featured worldwide in commercials, musicals, feature films, and on network television. In his music one can sense an unquenchable curiosity that seeks to discover the unexplored possibilities of music. He is passionately driven by the conviction that music can be a powerful force in advancing individuals towards their infinite potential. Ricky claims no original thoughts of his own, but attributes God as the sacred source from whom all invention and inspiration flow. Brigham is the youngest of six and comes from a musical family whose talents include piano, violin, cello, trumpet, and voice. Family Musical Firesides were common in the Welch Family. He has been playing the viola for about 12 years.  Brigham received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music at the California State University of Long Beach. There he studied with LA Phil member John Hayhurst and after graduation has continued his viola studies with another LA Phil member, Minor Wetzel. While living in the LA area, Brigham played in the Downey Symphony, Burbank Philharmonic, and LA Symphony (which performs in the Walt Disney Concert Hall for their summer concert series).  The last 4 years, Brigham was living in Boston with his beautiful wife Emily and attended the Boston Conservatory of Music, completing his Masters in Music Education Degree and his Masters in Viola Performance where he was honored to be receiving his training under the tutelage of Patricia McCarty. Currently, Brigham is a music teacher for the Lucerne Valley MS/HS and loves passing on his knowledge to the upcoming generation of musicians. ​ Brigham is a passionate violist that is looking to go a long way with music and will never stop learning how to make music even more beautiful.
