Nick Plays Irish Whistles exclusively from www.theirishwhistle.com. This album showcases Nick's multi-instrumental abilities on nearly every track. His expertise on Irish whistles, uileann pipes, and bodhran, are combined with accompaniment by acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and lush keyboards and programming. He also plays the melodica, hulusi, banjo, bouzouki, ukalele, and some pretty decent electric guitar work. some of the tracks feature Rick Metcalf (Nick's dad) on guitars, and Alex Metcalf (Nick's brother) on sax. the songs range from hauntingly beautiful slow airs, to Celtic rock ballads, and lively jigs and reels.
