This is the first solo release for Jeff Hughell, Featuring Lord Marco on Drums. This EP is definatley extreme metal but it also will not be tied down to any stereo types. It has no guitars on it (just multiple tracks of bass, some distorted). Along with searing fast tempos, there is also groove parts, melodic passages, and many things you might not expect. Jeff has been in the extreme music scene for over 10 years now. Jeff is a former member of Brain Drill, Vile, Osmium, Asylum and Mucus Membrane. He is a current member of the southern california tech death band Reciprocal. Cannibal Corpse's Bassist Alex Webster one of the creators of not only death metal bass but the entire genre itself had this to say in the dec 2008 issue of bass player magazine in regards to Jeff's performance on Barin Drill's Apacolyptic Feasting "Jeff Hughell, keeps right up with the intense guitar shredding and gives one of the best bass performances I’ve heard on a death metal album.”
