Georgia’s influences are evident throughout ‘No Escape’, taking her lead from the dark electronica and timeless production of Portishead and using it to compliment her inimitable voice, which echoes greats such as Shirley Bassey, Etta James and Peggy Lee. ‘No Escape’ is the sound of an artist recalibrating and finding her feet after a challenging 18 months.
