2008's "Don't You Want Some of That" displayed some of Joe's best vocal work and songwriting to date. Backed by many of Nashville's finest session players and backing vocalists, the record features several standout tracks including, 55 Chevy, Hard Time Moving On, and the blazing NASCAR anthem, Gentlemen Start Your Engines. The strength of the record brought Joe acclaim in a variety of media outlets, including Country Weekly Magazine, twice featuring Joe on it's pages and deeming him a "new star". The record was featured and promoted on the hoods of two different race cars during NASCAR races as Joe gave NASCAR race fans rousing performances backed by seasoned Nashville players. Joe Michael (Feldpausch) is a performing singer/songwriter, inspirational speaker, and teacher in Nashville, Tennessee. Joe has been writing, recording and touring on a regular basis for the last two decades. Joe's songrwiting odyssey has taken him across the US many times as well as Europe. He has been featured in Country Weekly magazine, Motorsports Illustrated, WSM 650 am Grande Ole Opry radio, Sirius radio, Christian radio and a variety of media outlets including MRN and ESPN. Joe has garnered fans around the world with national and international releases of inspirational songs like, Seek Me, Press On, and the rowdy and rockin' NASCAR anthem, Gentlemen Start Your Engines, Finish A Winner, and the autobiographical, 55 Chevy. Also a teacher in Metropolitan Nashville Schools, music is an integral part of Joe's daily classroom culture. Using his self-penned songs, poems, and chants, Joe integrates academics and musical art with the goal of inspiring his students to discover their purpose in life and achieve their greatest potential. As his schedule permits, Joe continues to travel, write, and record songs and has now added children's songs to his repertoir. In 2015 Joe headed back to the studio in Nashville to record several new tunes. "Ain't Hard to Believe" is the first track released from this latest work.
