"Suave & Debonaire is a 17 song collection of eclectric Smooth & mellow jazz compositions, delivered in some, way cool renditions by Joe Genovesi , supported by an awesome group of fine jazz musicians. We even hired a 30 piece string section from the Omaha Symphony for 2 of the lush ballads. Joe started playing at an early age in the 40s and by the 50s at 16 he was sitting in with Preston Love the great alto man who played 1st alto for Basie in 30s & 40s. Preston came back to home town Omaha to raise his family of a wife and 4 kids, his youngest Richie was given a couple solo spots by Joe, as Joe learned from Preston how important giving opportunity to up coming young musicians is. Joe got to play behind some of the greatest black artist of 50s including Lena Horne, Eartha Kitt, and many others because of Preston's generosity. It didn't stop there, in the 90s Preston was the editor of the Omaha Star. The first CD we produced with Joe "Cool Smooth & Sassy" was in 1997. Preston gave Joe a full page review and it helped propel sales. The music on this cd is designed for rest, relaxation, chilling out, and any other fun activity where you want very cool, very smooth and very mellow music to enhance your experience.
