简介
Laz Tha Boy Rich City’s Finest Bringing Richmond back to the forefront of Bay Area hip-hop, Laz Tha Boy embodies hustle and heart while he reps the streets of Rich City. At the age of 16, Laz realized early that he had a knack for delivering verbal slaps and decided to make it his career. Shot twice before the age of 22, Laz The Boy’s life experiances and environment impacted his perception of the game. Influenced by the music of Messy Marv, San Quinn, Magic Mike and Mob Figgas, Laz cultivated a unique style and distinctive sound. Making his start with the A-Team, Laz became motivated to create and distribute his music independently. Laz’s self-titled debut album, Laz Tha Boy, dropped in April of 2009 and includes the single “Off the Shelf,” featuring Gucci Maine. The new video “I Love You Rich City,” also released off the Laz Tha Boy album, is emerging as the official street anthem for the city of Richmond. In addition to being a solo artist, Laz developed the record label AOB Ent, has co-written R&B tracks, and the screenplay, “From the Ground Up.” Featured in Mandatory Business Magazine, Laz The Boy is establishing himself as a factor in the Bay Area hip-hop community. “Richmond is being slept on, I’m waking it up. This city is behind me,” says Laz. Founded in 2002, AOB Ent. Record label and studio facility is based in Richmond, California.
