Also born & bred in the small city of Witbank, home of the Roots Go Deep founders & headquarters. Already known for his remixes on Nulu & Peng Africa, D.nel finally releases his first original production. A cerebral envisioning on the nature of things as he puts it. Mysteries of the Soil captures the feelings & thoughts that D.nel has towards the metaphysics of his surroundings. The original mix is a lush funked up jam with a hypno-organic groove layered over a dark bass, emulating a sense of surrealism & earthy beauty. Consumed in lush deep pads, hard percussion & a sinister bass, Fred Buddah's remix comes off as dreamy and abstract under his remix moniker of Yao Kuwane while Ofuren expresses himself with a percussive downtempo remix, delving deep into the distinct Coal City feel.
