We are STAIRWELL, a rock and roll band; nothing more and nothing less. We are based out of Greenville NC. As all bands we started out playing covers and writing originals, pulling from all scopes of music: Alternative, Pop, Rock, 80's hair metal and anything in between. We feel that our originals are a true testament to who we are. Since forming in 2006, we have been striving to get our music heard by listeners out there. For every show that we play, we are ALWAYS given a response about our originals. We love our originals. The people love our originals. We try to separate ourselves from what others might do. We feel that our songs are very radio friendly, with meaningful lyrics, memorable hooks, and catchy choruses. We build upon making each song better than the last. We give everything we have towards our music. Powerhouse vocalist Jeremy Monette, has an incredible talent. His self taught style is fascinating with dramatic sweeps and range. His dynamic vocals will surely catch your attention. Drummer Travis Baker, has a tremendous gift for rhythm and his heavy handed playing style is nothing short of phenomenal. Guitarists Jamie Rawls and Mark Richardson create a diverse tapestry of sound. From dual leads to blazing riffs, each guitarist puts forth their own unique style to blend into one. Bass player Caleb Keen, shines as the backbone of our music. He creates not only structure and rhythm, but fills that are used quite often as major riffs in the songs. Whether it is personal experience or a moral lesson, we want each song we have to describe that feeling or event in our life. A lot of radio hits today have fallen away from this process of songwriting and it hurts to say, but it’s killing the love we have for music. No song of ours sounds exactly the same. We make music that we love to play. We pride on giving our songs a meaning. We strive to be different than the normal. We want to play and we want to be heard. WE ARE STAIRWELL
