Written by and starring Theresa Ryan & Artie O'Daly (also known as the YouTube duo Skip & Terri), the comedic series centers around an unsuccessful songwriting duo who are still trying to make it after plugging away for ten years in a world full of successful people. Their heroes are the icons of the 1970s - Barry Manilow, Marilyn McCoo, Carole King - and the singer-songwriter vibe of the era heavily influences this track, a play on the songwriting of "Where You Lead" by Carole King and the vocal delivery of Captain & Tennille.
