L.A. native singer/songwriter Shani Rose is a Songstress with a Soulful Crunch. Bringing this “Soulful Crunch” is Shani’s goal as a musician; to uplift whoever is listening. With influences such as Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, Adele, and Norah Jones, Shani combines heartfelt lyrics and catchy, soulful melodies in her album “Merry Go Round”. After helping to pioneer the prestigious Popular Music Program led by Chris Sampson in her studies at USC’s Thornton School of Music, Shani went on to become a regularly featured artist at the world famous Universal Citywalk in Hollywood. She has also graced stages at Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and across the country. In 2014 Shani won the Val Garay Recording Contest with her title track song “Merry Go Round”, and will be releasing her new single with Grammy winning producer Val Garay (Elton John,James Taylor, Marvin Gaye) in early 2015. “Shani plays, sings, and writes.
