Ben Vega began studying piano at the age of five and composing at ten. Since then, he has been involved in performing, arranging, teaching, conducting, and recording. He writes his own music and lyrics, performs the instruments, and synthesizes the sounds.

Improvisation is a key part of his live performances. At each concert he takes his audience along with him to new places in the music.
