Supergiant Blues and Drip were recorded a year apart over two winter breaks. Every year when Alec gets a break from school, he retreats home to Merrill, Wisconsin and locks himself in his room to reflect on life and turn those thoughts into songs. These two albums are comprised of simple, intimate home recordings driven by acoustic guitars. Supergiant Blues contains more catchy songs, while Drip is a quieter, emotional tip-toe through feelings of loneliness and love.
