Eoin O’Callaghan is a talented songwriter/producer who hails from Derry, N.Ireland. He releases music under three main guises; Best Boy Grip, Elma Orkestra and Wake America. All three enjoy airplay across the BBC including Radio 1, Radio 6Music and Radio Ulster. Eoin has recorded many radio/tv performances including BBC Arts Extra, BBC 6Music and RTE’s Other Voices. Eoin has performed with The Ulster Orchestra on two occasions, in BBC live broadcasts. Orchestral arrangments of his songs were played by the orchestra while he performed at the piano. Described by critics as ‘fearlessly original’, Eoin has had three singles from his debut Best Boy Grip album being awarded 'Track of The Week' on BBC 6Music and his debut Wake America release was discussed on 'Steve Lamacq's Round Table', scoring a very respectible 8/10.
