He threw on the beat, and the vibe was there. The same week we went to the studio and laid down the track. Then,Get Bizzie laced the beat with some old school scratches about 2 weeks later. Club banger-old school meets new school type of joint. Funniest moment making this song: having the whole 1st floor of my dorm rappin "DK you a supastar", whenever they saw me for like 3 weeks! -Without U: This was based on previous relationship. And,it's basically saying that though you may not get back with that ex girlfriend/baby motha or ex boyfriend/ baby daddy for whatever reason, you still love them. Interesting fact: The female voice on the answer machine at the end of the song is actually my ex. -Da Get Bizzie (B’more City): "Another Tino Production... U Kno". Yeah, this joint is an ode to Tha Charm City. The purpose of this joint was to put B’more rap on the map. Man, the bass on this joint is crazy. You gotta crank this joint up in your car fam. Definitely a club banger. Oh and check out the youtube video for the "Get Bizzie" dance. Most Frequent Question about the title: Why did you name it the Get Bizzie? Answer: Fam, that's the name of my DJ. -Girlz of my Dreamz: Man I wrote this as a tribute to all the ladies that supported me and held me down while I was in college. Actually, the original title for this joint was "The Face-book Song". So this is for anybody that ever hit me up on Facebook, Myspace, AIM, Blackplanet, etc and left any type of comment. Luv ya'll and ya'll are the "Girlz of My Dreamz" -Change My Mind: An old school Slick Rick/Dana Dane story tellin’ type of track. This is that real Hip Hop sound. By the way all three verse were 100% real, especially the last one( haha). Man, I had fun on this record cause it felt like we recorded on the front stoop of my old house, fam. Trivia question: What golden oldies song are we singin’ at the end of the record? -Bonus Track: Just a straight, feel good type record. "It sounds sweeter than the smell of daises in the summer time" haha (c) Uncle Ruckus. Interesting fact: This was actually recorded during a summer BBQ. --------------------- Playing on Stations WMUC - College Park, MD WJIZ - Albany, GA WFXA - Augusta, SC WIIZ - Augusta, SC WBLK - Buffalo, NY WWWZ - Charleston, SC WFXE - Columbus, GA WCCG - Fayetteville,NC WNAA - Greensboro, NC WPWZ - Greenville, NC NPR - Internet, District of Columbia (DC) WFXM - Macon, GA WDAI - Murrells Inlet, SC MUSIC CHOICE - National, NY XM - National, District of Columbia (DC) WIKS - New Bern, NC WKJS - Richmond, VA WTCC - Sprinfield, MA XM Radio - Washington, DC WPGC - Washington, DC WJKS - Wilmington, DE
