简介
I dedicate the first album, "ALMA," which in Spanish means “SOUL,” to the strength, perseverance, courage and commitment of all indigenous people to make this planet a better place. I dedicate this album to the undeniable love that moves us and inspires our every sensation, thought, word and action. I dedicate this work to all the medicines of the Earth. It is an album full of gratitude to all the visible and invisible, material and non-material, spiritual and physical, nurturing and sustaining elements of life. “ALMA” is a collection of original songs inspired by the Andean Healing Tradition of the Americas. It is an invitation to sing the Cantos that live within us as offerings to the Earth and Stars."ALMA" is the first production within the Canta Colibrî Project. "ALMA" will be release in April. 2017. The Canta Colibrí Project is the realization of a long-time vision; to bring together sound, song, history, community, creativity, healing, origin, prayer and dance to fulfill the universal human need to feel connected to the Earth and each other. Canta Colibrí in Spanish means Sing Hummingbird and it is an invitation to sing during these challenging times; to foster within ourselves a rapid movement (like a hummingbird!) of love, hope and strength; to rise up with dignity and song; and to recover our original memory and reclaim our birthright to be well and dance with joy for ourselves, our families and communities. In our Andean Quechua language, Ayni means Mutual Reciprocity. The Earth is alive and needs our songs, our dances, our prayers, our laughter, our tears. Thank you to all of you, dear friends and family, for your constant love, support and encouragement. May we birth song, dance, rhythm and melody in celebration of life and continuity throughout time always! It takes a village and I am so grateful to be part of yours! Fé, Fuerza, Valentía y Amor siempre! Faith, Strength, Courage and Love always! Claudia Cuentas About Claudia: Claudia Cuentas is an artist, a healer, an eduator and a musician.
