Craig Owens releases a cover of “Rebel Girl” by Bikini Kill.

“I have always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and often find myself in books or documentaries on the subject of things far from me physically but close to me mentally and emotionally. During my daily routine of trying to educate myself on things that I was curious about, I heard about a documentary called “Girl Rising.” Women and girls still earn less for every dollar that men and have barriers to education. I recorded “Rebel Girl” with Dave Trumfio in Los Angeles in early September. It was written and originally released by Bikini Kill. 100% of net profits from sales will go directly to Equal Rights Advocates and Girls Rock Camp.
