简介
The Inheritance's first album is a journey from the subterranean chaos of "New Country" to the remembered peace of "Ship Island." The band features founder Ken Jayis on acoustic & electric 6-string guitars, e-bow, tenor recorder and lead vocals, and partner Kirkman Ridd on 12-string acoustic guitar, percussion, backing vocals and production. The duo is joined on this album by Bob Birch on bass, Dennis Edwards on drums, Mike Miller on guitar, Robert Kyle on flute, and Tennessee Hammond Organ Wizard Keith McDaniel. About The Inheritance's albums, the press wrote: "The Inheritance make music that's direct and heartfelt." -- The Album Network -- "Guitars wail with the urgency of wheels rolling on a clock that's ticking ever closer to the point of no turning back... [The Inheritance] paint aural landscapes with just the tension or blending of their vocals." -- Pasadena Weekly -- "... lots of floating melodies and yearning choruses... well executed and lovingly crafted." -- Private Eye Weekly -- Hear this album and discover a New Country. Enjoy the journey.
