Originally released in Israel in September 2011, TYP’s debut album has undergone somewhat of a makeover, including brand new album artwork, and a bit of shake-up in its tracklisting. The band’s new international release of ‘9AM to 5PM, 5PM to Whenever’ will be available in France on June 18th, through Polydor Records. Ahead of the release, the band headed into the studio and recorded two brand new songs, both of which feature on the album and seep with TYP’s trademark diversity. ‘Gucci Gun’ is a lyrically imaginative and atmospheric number whilst ‘Be With You Tonight’ pays tribute to the epic violin solo featured on Joe Dassin’s 1975 song ‘Et si tu n’existais pas’. The album will also feature a reworked version of ‘Dirty Messages’, as well as the band’s popular cover of the Lana Del Rey hit ‘Video Games’. The album is available to pre-order in both standard and deluxe formats right now on iTunes. It will also be available as a high quality download from Qobuz.com. To celebrate the release, TYP will make a number of European appearances this summer, starting with a very special show at La Gaite Lyrique in Paris on June 22nd.
