Sue Records tends either to be associated with Ike and Tina Turner, its major international hitmakers, or the UK Mod movement. With more luck and a following wind Sue could have been one of the influential black music labels of its era; while sustained success eluded it, Juggy Murray's company remains associated with some fine music, as our collection attests.
