Made of Wood is the creation of Albuquerque-based musician and composer, Dan Waldman. The style is a mixture of old school funk ("Funkscribe" and "Wyatt's Groove"), and newer funky sounds with jazz influences ("Low Earth Orbit") - with a lot of exploration in between. The album features a heavy amount of retro organs: funky clavinets, Wurlitzers, Moogs and others, backed by a rhythm section and occasional appearances of horns and saxes. Cover Art by Ben Byrne
