The imprint has played host to artists such Tao Andra, Alex Stein and Lisa May and next up is a formidable 2-tracker from rising Rome based artist GIULIA (IT). 'Colors In Your Eyes' reflects the Volta canon perfectly as it sets a swooning, heartstring vocal soaring over the top of a thunderous kick. Bass synths saw through minor-key chord shifts while hats and claps ring out like polished swords. 'You Are Never Alone' follows up with another pacy Prog bass line that's set galloping over a powerful, tightly-woven groove. A dilated breakdown pulls the track apart, gradually dismantling energy that builds up again slow toward an arresting vocal. This sends a signal out to the floor before the drop lands with ruinous force.
