Karin Page is a singer songwriter currently based between Perth and Byron bay. In May 2014, the songstress took to the road with her partner/fellow musician Adam Nyeholt and they spent almost 18 months writing and playing shows all the way around Australia. Page has just returned from the Tamworth Country Music Festival in NSW where she was crowned the 2016 Toyota Star Maker. This competition is the oldest running and most prestigious country music competition in Australia. Her prize includes recording and releasing 3 singles - all with film clips and appearances at various festivals including a show in Nashville. She has played numerous festivals, including Nannup Music Festival, Fairbridge Folk Festival and Boyup Brook Country Music Festival where she picked up the “Best New Talent” and “Best Group” award 2 years in a row. In March 2016 Page's song "Lonely Night" picked up a WAM Song of The Year Nomination - The winners will be announced on April 9th. Currently touring as a two piece, the duo are taking everything they learn from their constant touring schedule and putting it down to tape. Equal parts heartfelt and catchy, Karin Page is making music that is refreshingly honest and intelligent, whilst still being a whole lot of fun.
