Cradle You Like My Guitar was inspired by a comment made after a dance with Meg Blanchet in one of Eugene, Oregon's great night clubs: Mac's Restaurant and Lounge. She said, "Sometimes it feels like you are holding me like you cradle your guitar." I asked her to elaborate on that theme by writing a poem that I was hoping to put to music. Within a couple days after that challenge, Meg emailed her creation, and I began to re-work it to fit a melody and rhythm that seemed to match up well. After several revisions, we were both satisfied with the composition, and the recording phase began. Beau Eastlund of The Golden Lab Studio played drums on the tune, and Mark "Mo" Schneider added bass. Meg added her harmony vocals, and the four of us proudly share the song with you.
