I came to San Francisco in 1968 with the A. B. Skhy Blues Band.......... From 1984 to 1991 I was with Queen Ida and her Zydeco Band............ Queen Ida and I have been friends ever since, and I'm proud to say she is singing a duet with me on "Bayou Moon" on this CD................... My old friend Tom Rigney is also playing violin on "I'm Here For You".

I call my music "rhythm songs"........I try to make each song "feel" good............I spend a lot of time on the lyrics, and try to make them interesting to the listener.........some of my favorite writers are Percy Mayfield, Bill Withers, and Delbert McClinton.............If you like this cd, please give a listen to my other CD's on CD Baby.................because I'm a songwriter, I'm very interested in getting my songs recored by other artists............if you hear a song you would like to record, please get in touch with me.....................thanks for listening.............Dennis Geyer
