Hailing from the Byron Bay area, Grace Hughes is a 15-year-old singer songwriter with a flair for creating catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics. Having been writing songs since she was 8 years old, Grace also plays guitar and piano. Grace’s career highlight to date was winning the 2013 Lismore Female Young Songwriter of the Year award with her song ‘Iron Heart’. Her prize was a recording session and this has lead to the release of her first EP entitled ‘Straight Lines’.

Grace has played at many stellar events in Byron Bay and beyond, including the Byron Bay Bluesfest and the Mullumbimby Music Festival.

Inspired by the success of her recording ‘Straight Lines’, Grace is busy writing songs for her next CD.
