Since the band's start in 2014, "Grace" has become a fan favorite. The ballad beautifully depicts the tragic, but true, tale of Grace Gifford marrying rebel Joseph Plunkett in 1916 inside of Kilmainham Jail. They were allowed only ten minutes together, with guards watching, before Joseph was executed for signing the 1916 Proclamation. Grace never re-married.

Few love stories are as tragic as that of Grace Plunkett. St. Stephen's Green is delighted to keep the story alive, in a new way, using the beauty of a passionate female voice over traditional Irish instruments, bolstered by the cry of a electric guitar.
