Papa Carlo, as Carlo Mathoera is known, in the Surinamese/Indian/Dutch music scene (the Netherlands and Surinam) started 10 years ago rapping / singing in Sarnami and Sranan Tongo. After gaining experience in various bands He started writing and producing his own songs. These songs featured on his first album "The DreamCatchers" released in 2011 Produced by his own label Pro Limitz in collaboration with Eternity Limitz. To deliver varied songs Papa Carlo always collaborates with new and renowed producers, singers and rappers. These artists are widely known in the Surinamese, Indian and Dutch musicworld. After the success of the first album Papa Carlo is back with his sophmore album "A Class Act". For this album he collaborated with The Wiz. He hopes to reach a wider audience with his second album.
