The Nixon's albums "Foma", and self-titled "The Nixons" released on MCA/Universal Records included the radio hits "Sister", "Baton Rouge", "Happy Song", "Wire", and "The Fall". The group capitalized on their success with big tours (about 300 shows a year), including dates with KISS, Sevendust, Slash's Snakepit, Brother Cane, Soul Asylum, Radiohead, and Toadies. Zac Maloy is an acclaimed songwriter for Warner/Chappell working with artists Skillet, Carrie Underwood, Halestorm, Daughtry, Blake Shelton, 3 Doors Down, Tim McGraw, David Cook, Black Stone Cherry, and many more. John Humphrey is the drummer in the band Seether currently on a worldwide tour. In 2017, The Nixons announced reunion shows with the band's original lineup (Maloy, Davis, Brooks and Humphrey). They went on to record "Song Of The Year" a driving and emotional song hitting the airwaves and playlists around the globe.
