AliveThrough Memories was formed in 2014 when Alex McGillivray decided to team up with his college roommate Brendan Machowski (Cinema Twenty Four) to co write a song for a class at Berklee College of Music. Wishing to continue working with one another, they set out to write and record an entire record, and over the next two years, would create the debut 'Self Titled" record due out April 22nd. Every aspect of the record from writing and instrumentation to engineering and mixing were done by Alex and Brendan. Their collaboration brought Alex's powerful melodies and brutally honest lyrics in sync with Brendan's incredible sense of songwriting, producing, and engineering. The result is a truly independent album that keeps the listener emotionally attached for the 11 song journey, and holds up sonically to a top notch commercial record. In 2015, Max Hamilton and Avery George of Turbines joined the mix to add to the live line up, as well as bring their own style of songwriting to future projects.
