Bradsley Rumble, better known as Zabbai (pronounced Zab-Eye), is a 24 year old CT native whose sole purpose is to incite change among his listeners. Raised in a Christian home, Christ was ingrained within him since a child, but his pursuit for truth truly began at the age of 17. It was then that he realized truth is not a thing, but a person. (John 14:6) Coming from a Jamaican culture and a Christian based home, Christ played a big factor in his life since birth. Growing up as a preacher’s kid automatically created conflict and struggle within himself to fit in with his peers. But by the 9th grade in high school, Zabbai's love for music and hardcore flow clashed with his natural kind personality. Some of his favorites were Cassidy and Wiz Khalifa, coming up with his secular rap name, "Young Infamous", associated his persona with a bad reputation or trouble maker. But the kindness within his personality wouldn’t allow him to keep up with the image portrayed through music. Throughout his 4 years in high school he made over 100+ songs and his talent increased with every song, building his confidence to be the best and get signed. But something inside of him kept telling him that there was something more for him than just becoming a rich and famous rapper. Zabbai states, " I remember in the summer of 2010 before I was going to get affiliated with a label called, "Blazebeat" I had a very vivid dream of myself being killed if I took the road of fame and money. Since then I saw it as a sign from God which agreed with my gut feeling that I was born with a purpose other than following the ways of this world. Since then he changed his life around and became a Christian, soon after incorporating God into his music. “The biggest influences to me are my Father, my good friend TJ, and gospel rappers such as Bizzle, Eshon Burgundy, Bumps INF, along with many others. But my greatest role model who I want to be like in each and every way is Jesus." Brad got his name from finding the name Zabbai in the Bible, who was the son of Baruch in the book of Nehemiah. This name slowly stuck on when he found the definition of the name meant, "wanderer, pure, and flowing." He incorporated each meaning as changing from being infamous to pure, flowing related to rapping, and helping save lives of the unsaved "wanderers" on this earth. "The goal I have isn't to just be looked at as a positive lyricist, but tell people about the good news of Jesus. It’s more than music, more than having a d**e flow, and more than a sick beat, it’s changing the way people live and incorporating the power of the Spirit of Abba." Ever since his start back in December of 2010 he has performed at churches, talent shows, open mics, completed 2 mixtapes and has finally been blessed with the opportunity to create his very first album Into The Depths. There is no other goal or desire but for people to encounter the fullness of God's presence and revelation of their identity in the Kingdom of Christ.
