"Synaesthetics" is a prism-like ability of the human mind to create from one sensory experience a collision of secondary sensations, as when the hearing of a particular sound produces the visualization of a particular colour. With this album, the musical collective, Cambria, attempts to paint the symphony of re-creation.  Rallying around the Genesis 1 refrain "and there was evening, and there was morning," they present six creation-inspired movements of darkness to light. The first movement of the album begins with the abstract and formless "Evening" followed by the dramatic transition to “Light." Each two-song movement that follows brings a unique interpretation of the cadence of eve to morn, quite unlike the preceding movement.The album concludes with the announcing of a rebirth - a new beginning through the lively, 60's-vibed tune entitled, “Morning.”  Influenced by the beautiful richness of chamber music and the driving pulse of alternative pop, Zac Cambria's orchestration utilizes intricate strings, as in "My Rose," along side of sweeping synths, as in "Vinyl Soul," to colour within the lines of creation. Join this collective in the symphony of creation as they embellish these intricate lines set forth in the beginning and attempt to mirror the Creator.
