Atypical and adventurous singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist using a wide palette of acoustic and electric sounds, heavy on beautiful arrangements, instrumental passages, and thoughtful lyrics. Nick has also kept busy as a sideman working with varied groups like Great Lake Swimmers, Sandro Perri, Barzin, Sun Kil Moon, Royal Wood, Donovan Woods, Dana Sipos, Rich Burnett, Roxanne Potvin, and many others.

At the onset of the pandemic, I upgraded my out of date, pirated recording software to a proper 21st century daw, sold some much loved, faithful gear to fund the purchases of a nice ribbon mic and complementary pairs of vintage synths and drum machines, and went into full studio rat mode. I dug into the songs I had been writing on mostly nylon string guitar, and began recording this album. It was a slow, solitary and meditative experience, I learned a lot, and was very happy to enlist the help of some true a-listers. Whoever this finds, thank you for listening. NZ
