Having enjoyed some success with my last album, "Phrenology," I was faced with the same question that many other musicians ask themselves: "Can I make an even better album?" I have to say my new album, "Life After Legend" really delivers! As just about any musician--or really anyone working on a creative project--could tell you, sometimes you get in a "zone," where everything you create is exactly how you want it to go. It's one of the best feelings in the world: being in the right moment, where all of your ideas flow together perfectly. I hope this album shows my existing fans, as well as new listeners, my true love for music, and how it really does come from the soul and speaks to it as well. And a final note: When I had released my last album, Phrenology, I received a lot of e-mail asking me, "Hey Chris, we wanna hear even more of your guitar playing!" You asked--and I've delivered! "Life After Legend" is rich with lead melodies, solos, and even more fusion, drops, changes, ochestra type movements, cresendos, high energy playing...you name it, this album has it!
