Words Unsaid is about saying more with less. Flow was written about love lost and found again. Soldier of Fortune is my song for my father Whitey Dahl – a mercenary who fought in the Spanish Civil War and led an extraordinary life and made our lives an adventure. Sail Away reflects my departure from Vancouver to a simpler life in a small beach town on the Pacific. Blue Blooded – dedicated to a departed friend from a wealthy family with a tragic history. Thessaloniki is dedicated to my close friend David Rutter who I've played music with for almost 50 years.
